Abstract

This contribution intends to analyze the readings of Platonic philosophy offered by Heidegger and Severino, trying to bring out the similarities and differences characterizing the two perspectives, and the theoretical motivations that underlie the respective positions. This will be done considering the weight they both assign to the influence Plato had in the history, and the various reasons for which such legacy has been realized.
