GUIDELINES

Publication of a volume within the series is subject to evaluation by the Scientific Committee and/or reviewers selected for their specific expertise. A reasoned positive opinion allows the work to be published in one of the four sections: “Proceedings”, “Catalogs”, “Research”, and “Tools”.

The procedure for submitting a proposal is as follows.

– Send a descriptive sheet (PDF format) to redazione@xydigitale.it containing: title and any subtitle, names of authors or editors, expected number of pages and images, manuscript summary or annotated index (5,000-10,000 characters) or a draft of the full text.

– Notification of acceptance or rejection of the proposal within 30 days of receipt; in case of acceptance, the Editorial Team will communicate the general terms of publication, indicating the expected timeframe and methods for submitting the final materials, as well as any necessary financial support.

– Submission of complete materials in compliance with the series’ editorial guidelines: text including index, notes, image captions, and bibliography, in one of the languages included in the series (.doc, .odt format); 5-10% summary in English (or Italian; .doc, .odt format); images (.jpg format, min. 300 dpi on a 15 cm base).

– For each author or editor, please submit a biographical note by completing the form provided by the Editorial Team, and submit a duly completed and signed publication license, which guarantees ownership of the intellectual property rights to the contribution.

Any publication costs are agreed directly with the Editorial Team and, upon request, can include printing of the digital edition.

Each volume has an online ISBN and DOI code; it is published on the XYdigitale website and on the OJS platform of the University of Trento publisher.
