Abstract

This article argues about the presence of being in human inner self, with particular reference to the subject of metaphysical memory in Augustin of Hippo, Duns Scotus and Antonio Rosmini. According to these authors, being transcends the human self, but it is also immanent to it. They do not deny God’s transcendence, but only exclude a physical meaning of immanence and transcendence.
