Abstract

This study aims to reevaluate the diverse critical interpretations of metabiography in order to examine the distinctive characteristics of non-fiction metabiography. This paradoxical genre challenges traditional biographical endeavors by shifting their central quest. Metabiographical nonfiction is characterized as a deeply reflective subgenre, focused on a fundamental question: What constitutes the essence of a life genuinely committed to art and science?
