Scientific Focus and Scope

The scientific focus of ADP - Antologia di Diritto Pubblico encompasses public law and its various disciplines, including constitutional law and administrative law.

The Journal aims to collect classic Italian and foreign scholarly contributions to the field of public law, in order to stimulate debate and reflection, as well as to enhance their enduring relevance through the publication of critical commentary essays or re-interpretations. In doing so, the Journal intends to initiate unexplored lines of inquiry, encouraging dialogue between different generations of scholars and research institutions.

Furthermore, the Journal strives to respond to contemporary challenges, prompting public law scholars to reflect on the richness of classic works and to use the past to interpret current events more insightfully. The methodological approach, which uses the re-reading of legal scholarship as a tool for understanding the present, is a defining feature of this initiative.

Finally, by promoting the renewed circulation of classic works, the Journal intends to address, through an interdisciplinary method, the need for dialogue between different approaches and experiences, periodically reviewing the progress made by the scientific community, also in order to draw new inspiration and fresh perspectives from them.
