Author Guidelines

The Journal publishes contributions in Italian, English, French, Spanish, and German.

Each issue is composed of two sections. The texts to be published in the first section are selected by the Directors and the Editorial Board of the Journal. The second section features at least three original scientific contributions which, as a rule, are no shorter than 35,000 characters and no longer than 60,000 characters, including spaces and footnotes.

Peer Review Procedure

In order to ensure a high standard of scientific quality, and in compliance with the principles of research integrity, the Journal adopts a double-blind peer review model for submitted manuscripts, in accordance with the provisions of Title III of the Code of Ethics. 

This evaluation form is used for the assessment of contributions. 

 

Procedure for Potential Post-Publication Amendments and Corrections 

Should an author want to amend or correct their contribution, they may send a request to redazione.antologiadp@gmail.com. If the request is accepted, the Editorial Secretariat will handle the amendment or correction and publish a notice in the Debates section of the website.

If the Editorial Board deems it appropriate, and upon request of the author, the article may also be retracted.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The submission has not been previously published, it has creative and original contents, it is not before another journal for consideration and it does not infringe any third parties’ copyrights (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). 
  • Any use of Generative AI tools in the creation of the contribution must be disclosed in the Comments to the Editor, specifying the tools used and the purpose of their use.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. 
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, DOIs or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Open Access Policy 

The Journal is published as a digital edition under a Creative Commons Attribution - ShareAlike 4.0 International License on the TESeO (Trento Editions Service for Open science) platform, providing immediate open access to its content in accordance with the University Statute and Open Science Policy. This means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. 

Readers are free to download, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material published in the journal, provided that they give appropriate credit and, in case the contents are remixed or transformed, distribute their contributions under the same license as the original. 

Furthermore, authors are encouraged to deposit the editorial version (Version of Record) of their contribution in institutional or disciplinary repositories.

 

Fees

The journal does not levy any article processing charges (APCs). 

 

Copyright Policy

Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions, authorizing and granting the publisher Università degli Studi di Trento the right to publish the digital edition of their work. 

Classic works featured in the Journal are, as a rule, in the public domain. Should third-party rights still exist on them, the works will be reproduced under the licensing terms permitted by the third-party rights holders.
