Abstract

After a long journey through human finitude in the Triduum philosophique, Emmanuel Falque wants to highlight the problematic connection between philosophy and theology and to find a way to put these disciplines in cooperation. His motto «the more one theologizes, the better one philosophizes» guides Falque’s hand in this roll of the dice, with the same courage and humility suggested by Rosmini. The outcome of such a bet is an ethical way to understand and take care of the human body even in the chaos of its animal component, a component that Rosmini himself included in the Anthropology as an Aid to Moral Science.
