Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format nd contains no direct or indirect references to the author (in the text, in the notes, or in the properties of the file sent).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal accepts article proposals in Italian, English, French, German, and Spanish.

Proposals aligned with the journal’s aims and scope undergo a double-blind peer review process with two external referees. Upon a positive outcome, they are assigned to one of the following sections, based on content type: Excursus, Focus, Hors de la page, Panorami, Rosminiana, and Spazio aperto.

Texts included in the Lectio magistralis and Overtime sections are selected directly by the journal’s Scientific Committee and are not subject to peer review, since they were previously published or presented in a public context. Texts included in the Editorial section, as well as the introductions to each section of an issue, are written directly by the journal’s editorial staff and are not subject to peer review.
