Abstract

For a long time, scholars have highlighted the singular consonance between phenomenology and some ideas of Rosmini. Among the latter, the “fundamental feeling” proves to be extraordinarily suitable for interpreting the reality of man as embodied self. Starting from Merleau-Ponty, this view of man still feeds a lively debate in contemporary French phenomenology, in particular through the voices of Michel Henry and Renaud Barbaras.
