In the frame of the project “Rosmini and Phenomenology”, this paper analyzes the possible comparison about the “question of God” between Rosmini and some recent developments in French phenomenology. This question will be read in Edmund Husserl, Jean-Luc Marion, Michel Henry, Jean-Louis Chrétien and Emmanuel Falque as a “rebel question” that rejects any reduction and rationalization. It is the same rationalization that Rosmini criticized and that makes his work an unexpected companion for this new phenomenology.
