The article focuses on a presentation of Filippo Bergonzoni’s book L’artista dell’essere. Arte e bellezza nel pensiero di Antonio Rosmini (Orthotes, Napoli-Salerno 2020), a monograph on Rosmini’s aesthetics from his early essay Sull’idillio to the Teosofia, his final unfinished masterpiece. A pathway in which the philosopher of Rovereto also engages in a dialogue with Alessandro Manzoni, in search of an ontology of beauty which finds its origin and its ultimate end in the idea of being.
