Tina Manferdini develops an ascetic interpretation of Antonio Rosmini’s thought, in continuity with the new neo-Bonaventurian school of which the philosopher is an authoritative exponent. Rosmini is interpreted as an exponent of the tradition of ontology. Then we see the possibility of the ascetic union of the subject with that field of being which is the foundation through the living presence of the absolute in the world of man: Christ, the one who manages to unite the world of man with the sphere of God.
