This article is an exposition of Rosmini’s thought on limitation, a specific category of non-being which is present in every human being and in every limited entity. Our first aim is to discern between “limitation” and “privation”, in order to read Rosmini’s anthropological perception as an attempt to define human progress without mortifying humanity. Therefore, this article is focused on the following themes: human limits and human errors during knowing processes.
