About the Journal
Digiti. Rivista manoscritta is a half-yearly journal, realized by undergraduates, graduates, PhD students and teachers of the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento, that is the offspring of a teaching project devoted to enhance the potential of communication via hand-writing.
Digiti proposes an alternative communication medium, with the aid of gestures and graphical customs that are less and less employed in ordinary communication: the varieties of writings, languages and writing systems displayed in the journal is meant to provide a wide spectrum of expressive and graphical forms.
In every issue a specific topic is proposed, a topic that the authors will be free to develop according to their interests and sensitivity. Members of the Scientific board and the managing editors will take care of the reviewing process, focusing both on readability and content.
