Call for papers III-2024
The Call for papers is now open for the third issue of DiGiTi. Rivista Manoscritta of the Department of Humanities and Philosophy of the University of Trento.
The Rivista Manoscritta (Manuscript Review) is a project meant to enhance the extraordinary potential of communication that can be realised through handwriting, which marks the flow of thought traversed by emotions.
The Review, which will be published every six months, will be distributed both in paper and digital format on the TESeO - Trento Editions Service for Open science platform. Each issue will have a topic on which contributors will be welcome to write, according to their own sensibilities and interests.
Instructions for authors
- Authors are asked to pay the utmost attention to the readability of their writing. To this end, the journal will provide the material to be used in order to guarantee the clarity of the lettering; authors are requested to use only the material provided.
- Contributions must be handwritten, in italics, with a black pen; the author will have to take care that the pen is well loaded and in good condition.
- Contributions in Italian, English, German, Spanish and French are accepted. Should contributions written with writing systems other than alphabetical be submitted, we ask you to accompany the text with transliteration and translation.
- All contributions must consist of a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of six (6) manuscript pages.
- Authors are asked to provide the final version of the paper, as far as possible, without erasures or marks of any kind, in order to ensure a certain cleanliness of the page and to make it as easy to read as possible.
- The editors and internal proofreaders, who will assess content and readability, may request, if necessary, changes to the drafts and possibly rewriting.
It is suggested that authors also use handwriting when drafting the draft, so that they can fully employ the possibilities for reflection (and exercise) that the slow pace of handwriting provides, if compared to keyboarding.
The Call of No. 3 of the Review invites us to reflect on the theme: "The five senses”.
