Abstract

Romano Guardini and Philosophical Christology 

The essay, after an introduction about the philosophical meaning of Christology and its possible models, presents the essential features of Romano Guardini’s Christology. The main thesis is that the Christology of Guardini is not framed in any model of philosophical Christology, because it presents the essential characters of a theological Christology. If anything, it may shed light on the conditions of possibility for a philosophical Christology.
