Abstract

This paper focuses on the theme of the ‘human individual constitution’ through Antonio Rosmini’s and Edith Stein’s reflections. In spite of their distance in time, and even if they certainly did not influence each other, the two Christian philosophers seem to look at the human creature in a consonant way. This comparison – which necessarily neither is, nor wants to be historical – is legitimated not only by a common philosophical sensibility, but also by an affinity in method and results.
