Abstract

The Concept of “Christity” in Teodorico Moretti-Costanzi

This article explores various aspects of the concept of “Christity” that Teodorico Moretti-Costanzi has developed throughout his philosophical production and that was particularly highlighted in his mature works. The “Christity” indicates a quality of consciousness that, when raised to the sophic recognition of Christ, becomes the highest critical quality of consciousness itself. According to the Umbrian philosopher, this critical nature introduces the concept of wise faith and indicates the origin and development of spiritual activities as purely theoretical activities; in this context of a radical Christology, a return to the main arguments of the critical ontologism is made possible.
