Abstract

Moving from Rosmini’s broad pedagogical reflections, the Lectio identifies several characteristics that outline a specific pedagogical approach, the “Italian method” in education. Passing through Bosco and Montessori, this approach – whose core is a comprehensive image of the child as a person and the need for their full emancipation – reaches all the way to Don Milani.
