Escribir en/de los cuerpos: erotismo y metapoesía en José Ángel Valente

Résumé

La presencia de lo erótico a lo largo de la escritura de José Ángel Valente (Ourense 1929 – Ginebra 2000) es de fundamental importancia, tanto a nivel de creación estética como de pensamiento propiamente estético. El poemario Mandorla (1982) presenta lo erótico como cumbre de una larga reflexión sobre la creación artística, así como forma rompedora de entender un nuevo curso lírico, que se desarrolla de inmediato en el siguiente poemario, El fulgor (1984) y deja atrás cierta visión melancólica de lo erótico. En el presente trabajo se intentará dar a conocer los distintos elementos que contribuyen a crear esta nueva concepción de lo poético por la cual el cuerpo asume una posición privilegiada y se pone al centro de un quehacer estético que consigue unir sexualidad y metapoesía.

The presence of eroticism throughout the writing of José Ángel Valente (Ourense 1929 – Geneva 2000) is fundamental for his aesthetic creation and reflexion. The poetry book Mandorla (1982) presents the erotic as the peak of a previous reflection about artistic creation, as well as a groundbreaking way of understanding a new lyric course, which develops almost immediately in the following book, El fulgor (1984), leaving behind a melancholic vision of the eroticism. In the present work we will try to define the different elements that contribute to this new conception of the eroticism in which the body is at the center of an aesthetic labour that manages to concilate sexuality and metapoetry.
