Abstract

Here are introduced the essays of this second monographic issue devoted to Cesare Pavese. We begin with an overview of the new editions and critical studies published in the seventieth of Pavese’s death; then we observe that all the contributions focus on the relationship between Pavese and myth, through three different, although complementary, stances: critical, linguistic, and comparative. This is evidence of how a plurality of methods could be applied to Pavese.
